Today, I’m introducing you to Kendra Jernejcic.
Kendra is one of the most thoughtful and thorough book reviewers out there. She’s a prolific reader, so when she shares reviews, it’s a lot of books.
I can’t wait for you to get to know her.

And now, I’ll let Kendra take it away!
All About Kendra
I’m a Jesus-loving, book-obsessed, homeschooling mom of three (soon to be four). Born and raised in Southern California, I’ve called Texas home since 2016. For the past 10+ years, I’ve been writing about faith, books, my latest obsessions, and my kids’ funny antics on my personal blog, KendraNicole.net.
I’ve never met a list I didn’t love, and I’ve never found a mug large enough to hold my morning dose of hot tea.
Q: What would you tell someone who wants to read more?
A: Set a designated time each day, get rid of ALL distractions (phone in the other room), and read. Include other family members if you need to!
Our family has a 30-minute Quiet Reading Time every day after lunch, where we all drop what we're doing and read in the living room. Even my non-reading 4-year-olds participate by using the time to look at picture books.
Once you’ve made reading a habit you won’t want to quit. And always have a “next book” lined up so that you can move seamlessly from one completed book to the next.
My favorite genres are literary fiction, contemporary fiction, Christian living, middle grade, and mystery.
I could never exist in a world without e-books AND physical books, old classics AND new releases, fiction AND nonfiction! And the 1998 and 2012 versions of Les Misérables are my first and second favorite movies (though I’ve never read the book).
