Welcome back, friends!
If you have little kids, and they can’t get enough of going on bear hunts, but you’ve had enough of that (more than enough?) then I am excited to introduce you to Mark Collins.
He’s got a picture book that’ll have you and your kids hunting for something much more dangerous interesting.
Now, I’ll let Mark take it away!
All About Mark
I was born and raised in North Carolina and live there now and serve my church as youth pastor. I am always up for an adventure or two, but I love making it back home again to my wife and six children.
Along with keeping all the dragons near my neighborhood at bay, I like good stories and good music—plus I enjoy sharing both of them with my family and friends.
Unofficial family pet: Stinky the Stinkbug roams our house and hides in closets, clothes, and cabinets.
Q: Where and when do you write?
Whenever I can find the courage and wherever there is coffee and a quiet nook.
Q: What’s a watch-worthy book-to-screen adaptation?
The Wingfeather Saga by Andrew Peterson
Note from Michelle: There are no ties in This or That. But, let’s say there were. In this far-off dystopia, Mark would have equal affection for Narnia and LOTR, and Paddington and Winnie would tie for best bear. 😊

Thank you, Mark, for chatting books today!
And thank you for being here, readers.
Catch you next time,
Michelle
I guess if you've ridden a horse up a volcano, dragon hunting doesn't seem like such a feat. ;P Loved reading Mark's interview!
I have a sad/glad update to this interview. Gus, the dog, passed away a few weeks ago. 🥺 The Collins family has welcomed a puppy named Chance into their fold. 🐾
